Like most women, I’m fascinated by the male psyche. This is really good stuff. I enjoy the variety of responses and interesting ideas the men put forward simply by answering this simple question. Thanks for giving men the forum to speak their minds so that we can catch a glimpse. Keep up the excellent work.
Loving someone else takes empathy, courage and persistence. Life is about taking risks. Don’t live in fear of anything. Experience all. When you’re married you discover more about yourself. OK? Peace & Love is your future.
Given the inherently short length of these, some sort of ‘play all’ button would be pretty cool. A right pain to go through each one individually! But, great site. Love video projects like this.
This is why I ABOSOLUTELY ADORE AND LOVE MEN. They are well worth studying and getting to know. Of course we girls are too but I am only attracted to men!!
What an awesome find! Watching these videos has helped me to believe in the goodness of men, and it’s way better than watching all those sugar-coated chick flicks. I love the way these guys are keeping it real.
Watched all of the videos today and laughed my butt off! Guys really need to speak like this more often. Unfortunately, they might not always feel like they have an outlet for it. Thanks, TMGL.
This project is uniquely awesome!
btw: is there a possibility to also start a “woman’s guide to love”? Maybe cooperatively with a team of female filmers … ? (i guess it is less awkward to talk about it when the interviewer has the same gender)
Anyway, congrats and all the best!
I’m so happy to have stumbled across this website. It’s refreshing, simple, funny, touching and beautifully shot. I’m sharing it with lots of people. And Nathan, 28 – you’re lovely.
I just stubled across your site tonight via a link on Tumblr and I’m so glad that it’s out there. Thanks for doing something like this because men, and especially younger guys, need to hear what these men have to say about love. and their experiences. Not only men, but women, too. Everyone could learn a thing or two from the MGL. Thanks again!
This site is amazing! So much of this is something I feel I’ve been through And I think i might even learn something from something I haven’t been through. And it’s funny.
I am deeply in love with this site. It makes me see men in a whole new light and, frankly, it gives me hope. Hope is in short supply these days and the Internet is usually a haven for gossip, self-congratulations and trash-talking. It’s so refreshing, even inspiring, to find a site (or are you a blog or a vlog?) so devoted to just real men telling it like it is. It reminds me how we all want the same thing all over the world. TMGTL is a beautiful thing. Thank you.
I am a girl from the Philippines. This is a great site, I spent a whole day watching the videos. I think it does not only apply to the men but to everyone in general. How I wish there’s a counterpart of this site where girls get to have their guide too!

have you guys thought about starting up a woman’s guide to love?
I’ve linked this site to a dozen of my friends. Pretty much the most wonderful thing I’ve seen in a while. It makes me all warm and tingly inside hearing so many men talk love.
Love is stepping into heaven and not realizing it until its over. No matter the circumstances all things in life are possible. A relationship between anyone can work if both parties sacrifice themselves for “us” instead of “me”
Love is having a flimsy bridge which can fall apart at any moment, but you and your partner have all the faith in the universe to stand on it together. If the love is strong so will be your bridge. (meaning you guys need to be on the same level)
hello, i like this site a lot because it teaches me about men…can someone please email me about the guy under the hall of fame named chuck ! im not interested in him but have a question…how do men turn out to be that nasty ? living in nyc i have met a lot like that
Great site. Really does show that men do have a caring side. I would really like to know who this Doug, 31, under Hall of Fame posted in Feb 2011 is! That was so sweet what he said.
This is a truly great site! Thanks for asking these people and giving us the chance to see this. Quite a few advices I thought about from time to time.
As a woman, I really appreciate this site. It’s great to hear a guy’s perspective on advice and love. What is said in these videos give a little insight into their experience, it’s nice to see some vulnerability from men. Aaron in June 2011 and Michael from April 2011, you’re advice resonated with me. Thanks for sharing.
my fav video is jason and gary, the model twins. hopefully i run into them one day theyre soo adorable! haha if u guys are reading this hit me up!! LOL
Aloha and Mahalo Nui Loa
What a sweet gift for me this day !! When all else falls away, there is ALL-Ways Love!
I am honored to bear wittness to these Divine men sharing their naked offerings of themselves through their words. As I sat and listened my Heart openning bigger through each mans gift, I was reminded of the preciousness of Who we Are Really. And of how Divine it is, how sweetly affirming it is to my SPirit to be so heard, so wittnessed and held in the truthfulness of the gift of my Heart.

Wonderful blog! I found it while searching on Yahoo News. Do you have any tips on how to get listed in Yahoo News? I’ve been trying for a while but I never seem to get there! Cheers
Absolutely love this site. The humor. The sincerity. The wisdom. While I wouldn’t consider this an end all resource for a guide to love (that’s what real-life experiences are for) it’s definitely a place to learn. Top grade stuff you have here, keep up the good work!
Why are you re-posting older videos for current days? I look forward to new videos, advice, and faces. I’m a little disappointed that instead of finding new people, you’re re-posting older interviews.
Jessica, we have a lot of new visitors as a result of our Kickstarter campaign to make The Man’s Guide To Love feature film. These “greatest hits” videos are a good introduction to the site for new folks. Stay tuned to our Facebook page for more info, and some exciting changes yet to come. We appreciate your interest and loyalty.
REALLY like your website and very much liked the insight provided by Michael and Tommy. The advice was simple and to the point and really made me and my partner talk. Please keep up the good work. Kudos to Michael and Tommy wherever they are.
I need an advice from guys. I have been friends with this woman for 4 plus years. We have been good friends, and she knows everything about me. My past, my failures, my relationships, my heart broken. She lives in NY and I live in LA. However, we saw each other and within the process something amazing happen between the two us. I knew, I had feelings for her but not until she came to visit, it confirms my feelings for her. After I told her, we decided to pursue something special. However, she changed on me. I feel like our relationship change in many different ways. I am still the same guy and I am in love with her. I know she has been hurt in the past and she is scare to be hurt eventhough I told her I would never hurt her knowing her past as well. I am so confused do to her reaction, and not knowing where I stand right now with her. Iam extremely hurt in many ways, but at the same time. I dont know what to do. Please advice.
Cool site. Wish I would have tried Victor’s thing on my first wife.

Also, the “Guys With Beards” tag at the bottom of the page yields some pretty hilarious results.
